点评:Who knew caves could be cool (and I don’t just mean temperatures)? We took our granddaughters, ages 8 and 10, to Woodward Cave and had a wonderful afternoon. Our tour guide, Meg, was phenomenal. She knew A LOT about the history and geology of the surrounding area. There’s a lot more going on underground than you’d realize. We saw cool formations, “soda straws” and stalactites, and felt “cave kisses”. We were even able to experience what you can see in total darkness. Spoiler alert - it’s nothing! Meg even kept the kids engaged by asking them questions, pointing out things she thought they might be interested in, and letting them take home some cave clay (only from a specific area). We were there in August so unfortunately we did not see any bats. The cave is 48 degrees year round so be sure to wear a warm sweatshirt or jacket (and long pants if you tend to get chilly).
It’s an easy walking tour but wear shoes that don’t get slippery on wet surfaces. The site has clean restrooms and a small gift shop. This is a fun family activity for all ages and well worth the reasonable admission fee.

这是一次轻松的徒步之旅,但请穿着在湿滑路面上不会打滑的鞋子。现场有干净的卫生间和一家小礼品店。这是一个老少皆宜的家庭活动,而且门票价格合理,绝对物有所值。
