点评:First, the stair steps up to the start of the tour are, well, formidable. Senior citizens need to be aware. The movie is rather amateurish, but I suppose its helpful for some. The tour lasts about 45 minutes or so, depending on the speed of the group. Docents are reasonably skilled, but sometimes it seems their spiel is aimed at a bunch of fourth-graders rather than a group of adults. The cavern is not really 'spectacular' in terms of colors and shapes, really mostly just brownish whites and whitish browns. If you're expecting a Pennsylvania version of Mammoth Cave or Carlsbad, you'll be sorely disappointed. Also, there are several really low hanging spots, so anyone over about 5'9' really needs to be careful. The paths and walkways are not well lit, and are like walking over rough cobblestone sidewalks, so you should wear comfy, flexible shoes, and be careful of footsteps. All in all, a middling-fair experience, and not really sure it's worth the $19 per ticket we paid, but you make that choice.
