Superb Dinner on the Rails Experience - Recommended to everyone

点评：We visited Strasburg Rail Road last month for the Dinner on the Rails, (5th June) due to road closures on route we ended up arriving just after our planned departure time. We thought we would end up missing the experience and were devastated as is it was for a special anniversary celebration. However Rick who is an absolute credit to the company managed to sort it out for us to get on the next train, even sorting us out with a special table and balloons also. He could not have done more or made the experience any better. Every member of staff we experience from the ladies in the train office to the train engineers and drivers, to the staff in the shop were super friendly and couldn't have done more to help.
As for the experience itself, you are surrounded by stunning scenery on a very enjoyable and relaxing trip, you get to see the train engines up close before you ride which are more than impressive and the whole setting of the station and its surroundings has been themed superbly, we loved the gift shop also with a great range of items, much more than the usual t-shirt and fridge magnets. The cars themselves were air conditioned which we weren't expecting but was very much welcomed on a scorching day and it was like going back in time how well done it was.
The food on board was superb, it was restaurant quality and well presented. The whole experience was one of the highlights of our entire trip, on our way from NYC towards Washington DC. I would recommend it to anyone, and although we're unlikely to be back that way anytime soon being from the UK, we would 100% visit again if closer. Every single one of our party of six have not stopped talking about how much they enjoyed it. I would give it 6 stars if I could.

车上的食物也相当美味。食物的品质堪比餐厅出品，摆盘也十分精致。整个用餐体验堪称我们从纽约前往华盛顿特区的旅途中最难忘的亮点之一。我强烈推荐给任何人；虽然我们来自英国，短期内不太可能再走那条路线，但如果离得近的话，我们绝对会再次光顾。我们一行六个人，每个人都一直在夸赞这次体验有多棒。如果可以的话，我愿意给它打6颗星。
