So we booked our reservation in the first part of April for Memorial Day weekend May 23rd). We were tracking the weather consistently. Unfortunately, the 10-day forecast outlook wasn’t soo good. The closer Saturday got, the worse the weather. So because we did not purchase the insurance and we were not outside the 14-day or longer before our reservation, we literally lost $440 because they would not allow us to reschedule. We DID NOT want a refund… we just wanted to reschedule for a different day. Not because we were “sick”. Not because we had “car trouble”. No reason other than 64 degree weather and rain on the day of the rental. We live 2 hours away from the marina and was coming over for the day. And the lady we spoke to on the phone was quite rude. So customer service is clearly NOT at the top of their list of priorities. So you are welcome, Hoosier Hills Maria, for the free $440. Will NOT be recommending this to anyone!
