Great trip in Ecuador- highly recommended!

点评：Me and my husband spent a week riding with Sally in Ecuador and the time was absolutely spectacular and unique. It’s a great way to experience this beautiful country, and the riding was amazing - reach out to Sally as she can easily tailor a trip towards your needs. And don’t be afraid of the weather it was reliably much better than the forecast throughout the three weeks we spent in Ecuador and apparently that’s a theme haha.
Trip: we rode three days in Zuleta valley followed by four days in Cotopaxi. The northern Valleys are beautiful, offer great views and lots of opportunities to learn about local culture and way of life. Riding is on the slow side given the mountainous terrain. Cotopaxi is spectacular, truly the nature experience we were seeking: remote, lots of wildlife (horses, deer, foxes, birds), open plains for faster rides, and surprisingly varied landscapes - incredible!
Riding: Sally leads most tours, she truly cares about the horses and they are all really great, healthy and safe. The tack is in good shape and very comfortable. I’m an experienced rider and my husband is a beginner but athletic and adventurous. Sally and her team did a great job in horse pairing for us and we felt comfortable, safe but excited at all times. We had the opportunity to ride several different horses and they were all fantastic, suited to our skills, responsive and safe.
Accommodation: We stayed each night in a different spot and they were all very unique and really beautiful. The food is great and plenty! Always big breakfasts, sally provides varied, healthy, and delicious lunches and dinner is typically a three way meal.
If you’re thinking about a trip with ride Andes I highly recommend taking action. The value is very good, all is cared for and it’s super personal, easy to taper toward your needs and the time that you’ll be galloping on your new horse friend amongst wild horses and Andean condors under snowcapped volcanoes is invaluable anyways.
