Beware, a couple of Tips
圣安东尼奥植物园的点评
点评：First, there are no signs as to where the entrance/ticket gates are. Crucial because you cannot see it from the street level, it is hidden above on a hill.
So many lots to park, several buildings, we parked several times and walked, wondering….
Finally saw a tourist bus to confirm at least we were in the correct area.
Some workers saw us and were not surprised we were lost.
Second, couple places we closed due to renovation but also like the cafe, it is off season now. The gift shop was open and cute, had some refreshments.
Third, not thinking, since we just moved her from Florida, this is not the season to see blooms. Pretty dead except a few inside the Conservatories.
Still a nice place to stroll in peace, when the school buses and kids were gone.
There’s a lake, turtles, ducks, a nice view from a high tower, outdoor theatre, much to discover.
Always want to support parks like this but next time will wait for the season.
Tip: Not much for younger kids, a complaining toddler followed us as parents tried to convince him it was Disneyland. Be ready for a couple hills to push strollers through.
