More to pay to be there but no pedalos this year.

点评：It is not as good as it used to be. There are more things taking up room on the beach yet less to do in the sea, as this year there are no pedalos because the council has put up the rental price so much for the people who ran them for the season that it is impossible for them to get the money back in the summer, so they have given up. They have been a feature of Weymouth beach for years and the council doesn’t care. The council announced this week that the toilets that were free up to last year will be 50p to use from now on. It could cost a fortune in loo fees for a family.
The beach is still nice and shallow for children but they might be disappointed. All the attractions are expensive. I live close to Weymouth but don’t bother visiting as often as I used to. Parking is far too expensive and though they lower the price for winter, it is exactly for the winter only and doesn’t include autumn! I swim in the evening as parking is free after 6pm but would love a day or afternoon on the beach. I just can’t afford it.
