点评:Decided to take in a spa. When in Rome right?
At 8:20 am, we walked up to the BUCKSTAFF BATHHOUSE. Got in right away for the Intro Bath ($45 @). Met Tim, our first attendant in the locker room that showed us what we needed to do. My son and I opted for swim trunks, so that’s what we both did. Then we went back to the spa. The original spa.
Eric walked us through the 20-25 minute ‘hot bath’, then the 10-min Sitz bath, then the 2 min sauna (which Logan did not do – and was extremely hot). And then the hot wrap with towel on our backs, and cold cloths on our face.
Very relaxing actually overall, and even Logan noted that it was a good way to ‘recharge’ half-way through our trip. Though be mindful you may ‘see’ more than you bargained for – esp with the older generations that don’t give a F.
During the spa – Erik gave some suggestions of place to visit and see before we left Arkansas, and I asked about breakfast.
So – the Buckstaff was awesome!
Most of the Springs are “HOT” – boiling. Non-drinkable. BUT – there is ONE on the back side of the hill that has refreshing, cold water.
Parking: Lots or metered street
