点评：I'll preface this by stating I've traveled on most of the Blue Ridge Parkway through North Carolina. At zero cost. The Skyline drive has a number of overlooks into the Shenandoah Valley as well as into the Blue Ridge Mountains. The main issue is that the views are, for the most part, unvaried from one overlook to the next with a few exceptions. Elevation is fairly low as compared to sections of the Blue Ridge Parkway so even the types of trees you see are pretty unvaried over the 105 mile drive. There are hiking trails and picnic options off of the drive. If you've never experienced the Blue Ridge Pkwy in NC then you will likely give this drive a higher rating. In my opinion the Blue Ridge Pkwy has more varied views, more varied elevation and flora, and there isnt a $30 fee to drive it. We enjoyed doing the entire Skyline drive but didn't find it very unique.
