点评:Not entirely trivial - 2.4 miles that feels longer because of the rocky start. Any moderately experienced hiker should have no problem - it's a rocky first half where you have to watch your steps, but the views are terrific and the petroglyphs at the half-way point before you double back on the mesa top are worth the effort. There's remarkably few hikes in Mesa Verde (I did them all in a three day stay), and while a couple deliver killer views, this has beautiful scenery, you are right up against the red- and tan-rock cliffsides and it's worth the effort. We saw a woman with a cane manage this trail (along with her son carrying a baby in a backpack carrier), and while she struggled (there is a brief hand-over-hand climb), she finished it. I wouldn't recommend this for anyone who isn't steady on their feet and comfortable with a couple of miles of mild up and down, but for everyone else, go !
