Stunning volcanic scenery, off the beaten track, excellent and knowledgeable tour guide driver

点评：I went on a half day jeep tour with the freelance tour guide and driver Eduardo on behalf of Greenzon Tours. The trip was amazing from the start visiting many beautiful viewpoints along the way, off the beaten track. Such stunning scenery and Eduardo was very knowledgeable and he has a strong passion for nature and protection of the Island's natural resources and in particular protection for the Island's wildlife ❤️
I was touring with a french couple and we visited Sete Cidades from different viewpoints. Firstly at the top along the crater's ridge past a Roman viaduct to see the green and blue lakes below, such an amazing viewpoint off the beaten track which was very spectacular! Then we meandered down to the village at the bottom of the crater and stopped for a coffee and to visit the ornate gothic church. Such a beautiful and peaceful village location with the lake as a stunning backdrop which we drove along and stopped to soak up the atmosphere and feed the resident ducks! 😄 Then we crossed over the bridge that divided the two lakes and drove along another track to see some of the local houses available to rent along the lakeside.
Then we headed back towards Ponta Delgada but stopped a couple of times to take photographs of the different landscapes and landmarks.
I would highly recommend you go with Greenzone Tours especially with Eduardo who kept us entertained throughout the journey❤️🤗💕
