Devils Tower National Monument的点评
点评：After visiting Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse the day before, it took us almost 2 hrs to get to this amazing site from Rapid City.
You see it miles before you reach it - a truly spectacular site rising from the flat Wyoming plains.
Unfortunately, it was very busy that sunny September day and it took us hour and a half to enter the park, drive to the parking lot and find a free space. However at no time we thought giving up.
Entry fee is 25$ per vehicle, but included in America the Beautiful pass I highly recommend.
Devils tower is the first US National Monument, formed millions years ago from volcanic origin, and is Native Indian's sacred place. According to their tradition you need to walk around it in clockwise direction. There're two paths - shorter paved we did and longer unpaved. It took us around an hour to hike around it, taking many photos from different angles.
