Log Hollow Falls的点评
点评：Log Hollow is a cool waterfall. There are 3 on the same trail; Discovery Falls isn't worth the time, and the one up from Log Hollow is just okay. Walk past the gate that blocks the gravel road (old logging road). This trail is easy and usually close to empty, though people do like to bike it, so you might see them parked for that. There's no parking lot. Just park along the road. You'll see a forestry sign and the gate blocking the road at the entrance.
To answer the other person who couldn't find waterfalls, use AllTrails or Waze. If you know the trail name, many map services will take you right there. There are something like 200 waterfalls in Transylvania County. You will find waterfalls by accident in the Land of Waterfalls.
Also, there's a waterfall called Key Falls. Go to Key Falls Inn, but instead of pulling into the B&B, go to the next road, which is Seven Springs. The waterfall is right off the road. 0 hike. It is on a private road, so don't set up a picnic, be loud, or plan to stay long. Don't disrupt guests of the B&B. But you can pull over on the road and look at it. Key Falls is fun for a picture if you're just out looking for waterfalls. That has nothing to do with Log Hollow, but hopefully it'll help the 'I can't find waterfalls' crowd. Sunburt Falls is a bit of a drive, but also 0 hike. Waterfalls are everywhere. You can also use AI to list them, but don't rely on its directions or drive time. Just enter the waterfall name into AllTrails or Waze once you've picked one out. Or Google 'Brevard Interactive Waterfalls Map' for a list of several of the most popular falls.
