just ok, not worth a special visit.
Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center的点评
点评：the visitor center is located in the downtown area canal park of duluth. its a nice 2 story building with several displays and a short film . rangers on staff to assist you. bathrooms and stairs.
Its ok for a visitor center but i found it less helpful in terms of information for the area. i know its a maritime center, i just thought they would have maps or basic info on the area. the other disappointing thing, is the information on the possible incoming or outgoing ships passing through the lift bridge is totally useless. there predictions are not even close .
because its in the downtown area, be prepared to pay for parking (yes even at the visitor center) the lowest rate is $8.00 for 3 hours. if your going to go and pay for parking, be sure to see the the park and bridge.
