点评:As a Patron who’s been coming to Crandon Golf for more than 30 years. This past Saturday was one I will never forget and not in a positive way. I had received an email in the morning about the conditions and that it would be walking only, no golf carts. As a 55 year old Man who grew up playing golf and caddying I’ve carried a few golf bags in my life but not in the rain or oppressive heat. When I began my round I had asked both the lady at the cashier and the Starter outside that I needed a push cart. It was drizzling rain and the starter acknowledged me and said he would “bring me a hand cart once one was available” he said by the 2nd hole he would bring one out to me. He forgot, and I was only able to last 6 holes until I had enough. I was furious, and went back into the club house to ask for a “rain check” and I told them what had happened. One of the “Managers” came out and told me that push carts are on a first come first served basis. I told him that’s not what the starter had told me. He refused to give me a rain check.
When someone says they will do something for you the paying customer and doesn’t do it, what recourse do you have?
Honestly, after being loyal to Crandon Golf at Key Biscayne for more than 30 years I have decided I can get treated much better somewhere else. I love the golf course but the management needs to learn about customer service. I won’t be back again EVER!!!
