Very well organized but too short
美国国会大厦的点评
点评：We made a reservation online for a fixed time slot, but when we arrived for our self-guided tour 60 minutes early, as stated in the tour description, we realized that booking in advance was completely unnecessary. Despite our fixed time slot, we were assigned to a random queue and entered the first hall in just 10 minutes, saving an entire hour of our day. Very well organized. First, you watch a documentary in a large, comfortable room, then you're divided into groups, given headphones, and follow your guide. Tours are free and start every 15 minutes and start at Capitol Visitor Center. The last tour of the day begins at 3:20 pm.
I'm giving it four stars only because, in my opinion, they show very little—only three rooms. Keep in mind that in one part of the tour, you'll have to climb stairs (or use the elevator yourself). At the end of the tour, you'll be offered the option of visiting the buffet, the souvenir shop, or the library, for which you'll need to make a reservation. I'd recommend making this reservation upfront, and then visiting the buffet and/or the shop while you wait for your library visit.
