美国国会大厦的点评
点评：The US Capitol was a must see during our visit. The tour is free but you must have tickets to enter. Allow yourself time to get through security and take the time to read the security information provided before your tour. We did and were fine, but we saw other visitors who did not and had issues. Be aware that no drinks or bottles of water are allowed inside.
The Capitol tours get very crowded, but the guides do a good job of keeping the group sizes small and the group headphones really help. You get to see the Rotunda and Hall of Statues, but that’s about it. It’s interesting to see but disappointing that you don’t get to see more of the building.
Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and kept things moving. Give yourself time to reach the visitor center to enter because it’s a good climb up the hill if you’re coming from the Mall. Signage for entry isn’t all that great, so give yourself time to figure out where you need to go.
