Fort Davis National Historic Site的点评
点评：Fort Davis National Historic Site is very large and incredibly well done. The ranger who greeted us upon arrival was friendly, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable, which set a wonderful tone for our visit.
The museum and short introductory video are absolutely worth your time. Both are very informative, and we learned quite a bit about this time period and the important role the fort played in the region.
They have done an excellent job preserving the ruins of many buildings, restoring several others, and recreating rooms with period furnishings. These displays really help you visualize daily life for the people who lived and worked at the fort.
This is a large site with a lot to see, so plan to spend at least 1.5–2 hours here. Wear sturdy walking shoes, as some of the paths can be uneven.
Overall, this is a fascinating, well-maintained historic site and definitely worth the visit.
