点评:We were 10 people in 3 vehicles visiting on Sunday, August 23, 2026. I would not do this again and especially on a Sunday afternoon when this area is crazy, crazy, crazy busy. We only came to see the Glacial Potholes...that was it. Finding parking was insane. We drove in and paid $7 per vehicle, then could not find a parking spot. With 3 cars, each went to different places a bout a mile apart, so we did not explore together. For the car I drove, we found parking, but had to pay extra, because it was actually outside the park. The actual potholes are unique in that they were formed from fire and ice. Volcanic lava flows and the ice age thousands of years old. It is a special place to explore but has plenty of steps to navigate. The views of the St. Croix River are very nice as well. There are 2 paddlewheel boats that provide tours for a river viewpoint. I would recommend visiting here on a weekday when it is not quite so busy. Very unique and wonderful hiking, but I rated poor for our visit on a Sunday when it was ultra busy and not so pleasant of an experience.
