点评:I’ve been coming to Habba for 12 years now, and it’s very disappointing to see the lack of or the unwillingness to upgrade their equipment, this year, they couldn’t even get their snow machines working Very little has changed since the Olympics in 1998. most of the time I’ve been staying at the Marillen and the staff there are very nice and I can’t fault them, but the owners spend no money on upgrading the facilities even though the majority of their guests are English-speaking they can’t even be bothered having English speaking. Networks available on their TVs, (they used to years ago) Many Australians are coming to Hakuba now( to many it’s quite crowded at times) and unfortunately some of the young ones especially show little or no respect for Japanese culture and walk around the streets drinking and leaving rubbish everywhere. Sometimes it makes me embarrassed to be Australian. I think it’s time to find a new ski area, it’s expensive to come here and spend a couple of weeks and you have to get some value for your money and if you don’t then we have to look elsewhere and that’s where I’m at at the moment.
