点评：Saugatuck Dunes State Park with our dog, Guinness, was a very fun day! Here are some of our highlights that may help other pet owners.
1) Pay $12 for parking at kiosk. When we all pay our way, we can have nice things!
2) Take the Beach Access trail to the dunes from the parking lot. This is about .6 miles each way and is a beautifully shaded trail with mixed sand/packed dirt and LOTS of sniffs!
3) You can bring water for your pup, but Guinness just drank excellent Lake Michigan water straight from the source.
4) There are some shaded parts along the dunes. Good to retreat when Guinness's tongue grew extra long!
5) The water's edge is sandy and very shallow, which helped Guinness be confident for his first swimming experience. Dogs should stay on leash the whole time.
