点评:We went to Niseko the week before they got real good snow, regardless the skiing was icy and not too good, visibility was terrible, but we powered through to enjoy. Overall the resort is great, lots of terrain and wide trails. The 3 stars are for 1) too many beginner skiers/boarders and that was tough to navigate through 2) they do not tell you that it's consecutive days on the pass use (unless you buy more than 8 days), now we had 4/5 day passes and lost a day due to the 'fine print' about consecutive day use. It rained a day, no one wants to ski in the rain and ice, so it was very disappointing when we tried to use our pass the last day and it would not work. Conveniently at this time the ski resort manager where NOW did not speak English. This was very frustrating. Unless you want to drink, there's not much to do in Niseko - the food truck food is way better than restaurants though...I would make sure you watch the webcams and not the social media too, social media is deceiving and shows lots of snow, that was our mistake as well...we would probably not go back as we could stay in the US not spend all the money on the flights to Japan and have similar to better experience.
