点评：Chasing Peacock Bass in the Amazon is a once in a lifetime experience for most people. I’ve had the good fortune to do it twice. While there are multiple outfitters selling Amazon expeditions, do your homework.
After just completing my second trip with Nomadic Waters - I cannot recommend them more highly. Nomadic Waters stands out for many reasons. This is the Amazon - not Disneyland. The risks are real. Selecting an experienced outfitter you can trust is crucial.
Nomadic Waters provides you with:
◦ Access to one of the best websites for pre-trip preparation and planning.
◦ Access to a travel agency that handles your flights and connection
◦ Personnel greeting you outside of customs in Manaus
◦ Private, escorted transportation to and from hotel, restaurants and tours before and after your trip to the jungle takes the worry out of travel to a foreign country speaking a language you may not be fluent with.
◦ Private charter flights to and from your jungle destination.
◦ The regions most experienced and loyal guides know the waters and specific locations to put you on some spectacular fish. The fact that their least tenured guide has been with Nomadic for 7 years says everything.
◦ Every staff member, from the cooks to the staff that does your laundry every day is nothing but friendly and hospitable.
◦ Great accommodations, whether on the Mother Ship or floating cabins. Having air conditioning and WiFi in the middle of the jungle after a long day of fishing is much appreciated.
