点评:We had booked a 10:15 AM Monday tour. As it turned out we were the only 2 to have booked that time but they still did a tour for just us. Our guide was a young lady who offered that she was a WSU student. She was very nice and knowledgeable despite the fact that my husband kept asking her difficult geological questions. The caverns were beautiful and a very welcome temperature on that very hot summer day. Mid 50's I believe. The tour was 50 minutes long and cost us $25 per person.
WE took the Natural tour. There is also a historic tour and a combined tour. Plenty of free parking and a nice gift shop with lots of minerals for sale at all price points.
Take a sweatshirt and wear good closed toe shoes - no sandals or flip flops. There are several very narrow passages and low ceilings. You are cautioned to not touch anything. If you do you are destoying thousands of years of crystal formation - so be careful!
