They gave me a very old car in extremely poor condition. The vehicle appeared to be around 15–20 years old and already had numerous visible damages when I collected it.
When I picked up the car, no staff member walked with me to inspect the vehicle or point out the existing damages, even though there were many. Instead, they asked me to sign documents at the desk. I later realised that the document I signed had a date inserted that was five days ahead.
I returned the car in exactly the same condition as when I collected it. However, they later used the document I had signed at the time of collection, filled it in with “additional damages,” and charged my credit card €3,100.
Fortunately, I took a video of the car when I collected it, which clearly shows that the scratches they are charging me for were already present. When I sent them this evidence and requested a refund, they responded that they do not accept my complaint, despite the video proof showing the damages were pre-existing.
I am now taking legal action against this company in order to recover the money they have taken from me.
Be extremely careful with this company. They may offer a very low rental price initially, but based on my experience they may later try to charge you for alleged damages or other costs.
Avoid this company.
