We visited Three Hammers Winery after our Pennsylvania Rail Bike ride, and it was such a great addition to our day! This was a different experience from other wineries we’ve visited. Rather than simply sampling wines, they guide you through a set tasting menu and spend time explaining each wine, its origins, and what foods it would pair well with. It felt much more personal and informative than a typical tasting.
We were among the first people there for the day and ended up spending around two hours enjoying the experience. After our tasting, we purchased a bottle to enjoy on the patio, which was a perfect way to relax and take in the surroundings.
The outdoor space is huge, with plenty of seating and beautiful views. There really doesn’t seem to be a bad spot to sit, making it a great place to linger for a while rather than just stop in for a quick tasting.
We really enjoyed our visit and would absolutely recommend adding Three Hammers Winery to your itinerary if you’re exploring the area. It was a memorable experience and a great way to spend part of the afternoon!
