Liberty definitely not for couples
Le Boat - Nieuwpoort的点评
点评：We recently hired the Liberty boat from Le Boat for a trip with two couples. While the boat is advertised as being suitable for couples, we found the accommodation quite cramped for four adults.
The main issue was the second bedroom. Although technically it can be described as a double cabin as it has two side by side narrow mattresses taking up rhe width of the room, the bed layout meant that both person's heads had to be at the end of the bed where access is required, making it uncomfortable and not practical for two adults sharing. (We resorted in putting the table in the living area down each night for my husband to sleep in the seating area which was a total hassle)
The indoor living space was also smaller than expected. The seating area was not really designed for four adults to sit comfortably together, especially if you wanted to relax and watch TV in the evenings.
The boat itself was clean and generally well maintained but with no air conditioning as despite it being a relatively new boat it was broken. Whilst we enjoyed the overall boating experience we feel that prospective customers should be aware that while the Liberty can accommodate four adults, it may not provide the level of comfort that most couples would expect for a longer holiday and is definitely more suited to a couple or a family with very small children something that the staff at the mariner acknowledged on return of the boat and said that others had raised the same issue in the past. Its a shame that LeBoat choose to ignore this as had we known we would have opted for a different boat.
Another thing to note is that in Belgium you can only moor in designated areas unlike the UK and the rest of Europe which we were unaware of until arrival.
