Boon Lott's Elephant Sanctuary的点评
点评：I have been lucky enough to visit Boon Lott’s Elephant Sanctuary twice, and it is truly one of my favorite places on earth. There is something incredibly special about BLES, and I'm already dreaming of a third visit. It is a true sanctuary. The elephants are simply allowed to be elephants. You have the privilege of quietly watching them wander through the forest, interact with one another, forage, explore, play in the mud, and live their lives on their own terms. It is such a beautiful thing to experience. Katherine, the founder, is so warm and welcoming and shares so much knowledge about the elephants, their individual stories, and their lives. The mahouts are wonderful, and it is obvious how deeply each of them cares for the elephant they look after. The homemade vegetarian meals are another highlight. The delicious food is prepared with so much care and love each day by the incredible kitchen staff. From the elephants and the people who care for them, to the rescued dogs and cats (and pigs and a crocodile), the beautiful forests, and the peaceful atmosphere, BLES is truly a magical place. Both of my visits have been unforgettable. I can't wait to return.
