Knole Park的点评
点评：Knole Park is a beautiful nearly 1000-acre park located in the affluent town of Sevenoaks. Part of the park belongs to the 600-year-old Knole House, which is a spectacular country house and a former archbishop's palace. The park features several signposted walking trails and it is home to a total of several hundred deer. In fact, deer have lived in the park ever since Archbishop Bourchier enclosed the area in 1456 to turn it into a park for deer hunting. Visitors can explore the park on their own but they can also join deer keeping sessions or guided walks that take place in autumn and winter. Before you visit, make sure that you check the National Trust's deer dos and don'ts.
Entry to the park is free for pedestrians but car entry and parking is free only through an admission ticket to the house. Give yourself at least an hour to explore the park but if you want to enjoy it properly, you'll probably need at least a couple of hours. Although we saw a few deer during our visit, sadly we didn't get to fully explore the park as we spent a couple of hours in the house, so we recommend that you set aside enough time to explore both.
