点评:I’ve been a big blues fan for years, and always had this on my hit list. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but I just had to do the tour. Our tour guide was the museum’s Executive director, Janine Judge. She was just wonderful, and provided us with lots of info about Chess, and even threw in a few off-the-record stories about some of the musicians! We got to see various cases of memorabilia, and Leonard Chess’ office. From there, she took us upstairs to the actual recording studio used by the likes of Muddy Waters, Willie Dixon, Chuck Berry, Etta James, and numerous others. She also told us that the studio is still in use today. Janine was a wealth of knowledge! This who place is a non-profit organization. If you want to go, make sure you make a reservation.
