Karnataka Siri Horticulture Garden的点评
点评：We visited in June 2026 and were thoroughly impressed. Although parts of the garden are still under development by the Karnataka Government, it is already one of the finest attractions in the Ooty–Coonoor region.
In fact, if you have time to visit only one garden during your trip, make it this one. It is significantly better than the other gardens in the area and offers a much more expansive and thoughtfully designed experience.
The entry fee is ₹100 per adult, while parking for a four-wheeler costs ₹80. There is also an optional buggy service available for ₹200 per adult, which we highly recommend given the sheer size of the property.
The buggy operates much like a hop-on, hop-off service within the garden. It stops at three major points of interest, and the drivers clearly explain what is worth exploring at each location. Visitors can spend as much time as they like at a stop and simply board the next buggy when ready to continue.
The first stop includes some of the garden's most popular attractions: the Flower Waterfall, Sculpture Garden, and a maze. The second stop features a beautifully curated plant enclosure showcasing ornamental displays and landscaping ideas. The third stop is home to the Hanging Bridge, which offers pleasant views and a fun walk across. After crossing the bridge, another buggy picks visitors up from the opposite side and returns them to the entrance area, where the impressive Glass House can be explored at leisure.
What stood out most was how clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully organized the entire property was. Since we visited on a weekday, the crowds were minimal, allowing us to enjoy the gardens at a relaxed pace and fully appreciate the beautifully landscaped surroundings.
Even in its current partially completed state, this garden is already a must-visit attraction and easily one of the highlights of a trip to Ooty.
