Siem Reap Bike Tour的点评
点评：We booked a 3-day bike tour to Angkor Wat for $190 per person, which turned into a private tour since no other guests joined. While there were some positives, we left feeling the experience didn’t quite match the glowing reviews we’d read.
Pros;
• The bikes were excellent quality
• Our guide was genuinely friendly and happy, and showed personal interest in us
• He was very knowledgeable about the temples and their history
• The tuk-tuk driver was extremely friendly and flexible - they accommodated our request to switch from bikes to tuk-tuk when it rained
• We got to see sunrise at Angkor Wat and visited multiple temples over the three days
• included a nice countryside tour
• The street market food stops were authentic and enjoyable
Cons;
• We specifically chose this operator based on reviews praising a particular guide, but we got his brother instead
• The English proficiency wasn’t at the level advertised in other reviews, making it difficult to fully understand explanations or ask detailed questions about history and culture (important to us as history enthusiasts)
• His presentation style lacked energy and enthusiasm, making the temple tours feel a bit flat and boring
• At $190 per person, it felt overpriced for what we received - the meals were just basic street food (only a few dollars worth)
