点评:We brought a group of women to the Dallas Arboretum for a paid guided tour—and what happened with parking afterward is unacceptable.
Our group was instructed in writing by an Arboretum docent to park at Gate 2 (restricted parking) so we could stay together for the tour.
When we arrived, we were waved into that lot by an attendant. At no point were we told to pay, register, or obtain a permit.
After our visit, every single person in our group received a $79 parking citation.
We have submitted appeals with documentation.
We have written confirmation that we were told to park there.
And despite multiple attempts to communicate, the Arboretum has not helped resolve this for our group.
This is not a small oversight—this is a breakdown that is costing guests real money after they followed the instructions they were given.
We are also now seeing other visitors reporting similar issues, which makes this even more concerning.
Adventure Ladies shows up, supports local experiences, and brings paying guests—and this is how our group was handled.
This needs to be addressed.
If you’ve had a similar experience, I’d like to hear from you.
