Great trip. Better if you bring your own gear.

点评：Have done many trips with this company over the years. Great. Always excellent, skilled, impressive, guides. Well equipped, they even carry a defibrillator as well as a huge medical kit and comms for every eventuality.
Excellent food, wine and accommodation. You will likely gain weight!
The most recent trip was the 3 Capes adventure walk.
Usually we bring our own gear. Didn’t this time so as to travel with carry-on only and used the supplied raincoats and packs for the hike. That was a mistake.
On a day of heavy rain several of us were complaining within ten minutes of the jackets not beading and getting waterlogged. Soaked inside. I guess they are overdue for re-treating with waterproofing agent. We wished we had brought our own Goretex with us.
The backpacks were ok but is better to bring your own with a better harness and you know where everything is.
No need for gaiters. Do bring rain pants and walking poles. Must bring a quick-dry microfibre towel for showering, none available at the lodges. If you want a hot drink on the track bring a cup.
We wore waterproof leather boots which are great for the Overland track, serious mud but were a bit of overkill for this walk. Something lighter would be fine.

Likely will need to take footwear off getting on or off the boat on day 2. Don’t really need extra sandals for that as is on sand.
Couldn’t fault the trip itself but bring your own gear if you have it. If not, everything is available for hire/purchase and you’ll have a great time for sure.

我们穿的是防水皮靴，非常适合陆路徒步路线（Overland Track），那里泥泞不堪，但对于这次徒步来说有点过于厚重了。轻便一些的鞋子就足够了。

第二天上下船时可能需要脱鞋。由于是沙地，所以不需要额外的凉鞋。
这次旅行本身无可挑剔，但如果你有自己的装备，最好带上。如果没有，所有装备都可以租借/购买，相信你一定会玩得很开心。
