点评：Never visited New Orleans before so asked Burton to arrange a trip to Oak Alley Plantation with 90 minutes onsite. They quoted an amount. I accepted it without checking the time they had quoted for this trip.
Unfortunately, it’s a 75 minute journey each way so had we stuck to the 3 hours we’d only have had 30 mins onsite. We actually stayed for the 90 mins as the tour takes this amount of time.
To cut a long story short Burton billed us for an extra hour.
I pointed out that I’d asked them for transportation there and back with 90 mins onsite. They said tough, you should have checked the quote.
I asked them to make a gesture as they had not quoted for what I had asked for. They said no.
I realise that ultimately we should have checked if 3 hours was enough for the trip and that we should have checked the journey time.
My advice therefore is to be careful with this company and check exactly what you are paying for and what the conditions are.
