点评:This small museum is one of the best I've been to. The curation, the artifacts, the storyboards, and the content are outstanding. And the people working there are not only friendly, but also very informative. We learned about two nearby hikes to Ancestral Puebloan ruins that were a highlight of our day. The museum affords an excellent understanding of the different people and different pottery and architecture from the earliest inhabitants of the Four Corners Canyonlands. It has an amazing collection of intact pottery and neat storyboards about how local hikers have found and assured proper protection for discovered artifacts. The reconstructed village on the property with a kiva you can enter is very cool, and the art installations throughout the property by local artist Joe Pachak are incredible. Views out to the Abajo Mountains and the other surrounding peaks from the village site add to the allure of this destination.
