点评：A must visit for Misty of Chincoteague readers and anyone visiting the island. Thank God this ranch was preserved and saved from developers! My family and I bought a combo admission at the Chincoteague museum and visited the ranch for the first time in July 2026. The ranch contains many artifacts of the Beebe family, Marguerite Henry’s typewriter, letters from fans, all the while playing the movie in the kitchen where the real Misty rode out the devastating Ash Wednesday storm while the family had to evacuate by helicopter !
My daughters were enamored by the other typewriter ( not Marguerite’s) that could be used by the public to type on Marguerite Henry’s letterhead! They would have stayed all day! Outside, there are ponies on site and we were lucky to be introduced by one of the volunteers!

我的女儿们被另一台打字机迷住了（不是玛格丽特的那个），公众可以使用那台打字机在玛格丽特·亨利的信笺抬头上打字呢！她们简直想一整天都待在那里啊！户外还有小马可供观赏，我们很幸运地得到了一位志愿者的介绍呢！
