点评:I took my family to an authentic cooking class with Carlos and Elsa. The knowledge they provided was through the roof. We started the day at the local market, gathering all the ingredients needed. While there, they provided thorough explanations of the history and use of the various fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients. Once the produce was gathered, we were welcomed into their home to learn various recipes and traditions of their culture. We cooked stuffed poblanos, delicious tamales, unreal Mexican pizzas, tacos, enchiladas and even more. They speak English very well and are completely versed in the history of the region as well as the surrounding areas. They seem to be very well known and appreciated in Zihuatanejo. If you are able to travel here, please do not hesitate to experience this class with them as well as the many other adventures they are able to take you on. This was a home run and we walked out with our belly’s full. I can’t forget to mention, the mezcal and Paloma’s were so delicious. They were even able to adapt to a guest who was vegetarian. All in all 10/10 must experience when in Zihuat.
