At Zao, the famed frost-covered trees are never guaranteed. Weather, wind, and visibility decide everything. Even our local instructor mentioned it had been weeks since conditions were this clear.
Under a rare stretch of blue sky, the snow-covered landscape felt almost unreal.
While waiting in line at the iconic “Zao” sign, our instructor helped us capture a short video across different spots—something we wish we could share here, as photos can hardly do it justice.
It wasn’t just about the scenery, but the feeling of being there at the right moment, with the right light—creating memories that will stay long after the snow melts.
