点评:Technically, there are two buildings about 10 minutes apart. They are preserved historical houses. Free to enter.
I was happy I went with craftsmen who work with wood. He was totally mesmerized by the quality of the skill. Things that I don't understand, nor am I interested in, he was fascinated by wood finish, lack of nails, fittings, etc.
I would have wandered in and out in 10 minutes, but my friend took a good hour just going through the house. The staff was great. Willing to show my friend the different joints, how the doors work, etc, things that I would never wonder or ask about.
This visit was enhanced because my friend loves woodwork. It was a great experience. I appreciate the staff for their efforts and patience.
Not sure if this place will hold a lot of interest for others, but it is worth going if you wish to understand how people lived years ago.
