点评：One of the most beautiful and atmospheric places we visited in Kanazawa. Walking through Higashi Chaya District feels like stepping into another era, with its beautifully preserved wooden teahouses, traditional architecture, and charming stone-paved streets.
The district has a wonderful sense of history while still feeling alive, with small cafés, artisan shops, and local businesses tucked away inside many of the historic buildings. We enjoyed simply wandering without a plan, taking in the scenery and admiring the craftsmanship that has been preserved for generations.
Despite its popularity with visitors, the area still manages to retain an elegant and authentic character. Early morning or late afternoon are particularly lovely times to visit when the light reflects off the wooden facades and the streets feel especially magical.
A perfect place for photography, a leisurely stroll, and anyone wanting to experience a glimpse of traditional Japan. Highly recommended and undoubtedly one of the highlights of Kanazawa.”
