点评:This is charming historic street in the Old City of Philadelphia dating back to 1703. One of the houses at the beginning is museum which was closed when we visited this street. But it didn't matter as we just walked along it. Each house is different, there are small details like sign for firemen etc. Cobbled in the middle, pots with flowers and plants in front of the doors making like a small front garden. We spoke with one owner, oldish chap who came out from the house to water his "front garden"and asked him if he is not fed up of the constant flow of people wandering up and down the street. After living there 40+ years he don't bother was the answer. There was one house which needs desperately repairs but the owner doesn't want to sell it despite he doesn't live there. And apparently there is a list of people who would like to be resident there.
