点评：We absolutely loved this experience! We visited twice and made sure to bring apples and carrots each time. I have to admit, I loved spending time with these "asses"—we always joke that they're my partner's cousins! 😂
Be sure to bring a little extra money to support the sanctuary. We happily bought a couple of T-shirts and a beautiful metal donkey print.
The donkeys are incredibly friendly and will come right up to you. Just feed them from the porch, as recommended, so they don't crowd around or fight over the treats.
I couldn't help but pick a favorite each day. The first was an older donkey who took his time chewing, so I patiently made sure he got plenty of treats. The second was a younger one that completely stole my heart and, of course, got a few extra goodies too!
The peacocks and their babies were an unexpected bonus. If you're visiting Aruba, I highly recommend stopping by the Donkey Sanctuary. It's a fun, heartwarming experience, and you'll probably leave with a favorite donkey of your own!
