点评:This place calls itself a “rescue center” and a crocodile farm, but what we saw was absolutely horrifying.
The entrance fee is super cheap(around 50 pesos), and right at the entrance visitors are offered to take photos with a baby crocodile whose mouth is taped shut. We suspect the animal is kept like wholesale day.
The zoo itself looks abandoned, like a post-apocalyptic place. Many paths and enclosures are closed or destroyed. We only saw a few birds, a couple of snakes, some turtles, crocodiles, two bearcats, and one thin, starving wild boar with visible ribs.
None of the animals had visible water bowls, despite the extreme heat. The enclosures were dirty, with rotting banana peels left inside. Crocodiles were sitting in filthy muddy puddles.
The overall feeling was deeply disturbing - it felt more like a concentration camp for animals than a rescue center.
What is especially weird is the number of staff members casually chatting and “working” there while animals are clearly suffering from neglect.
What is happening here looks like animal abuse and neglect, not rescue or conservation. They also sell crocodile meat at the entrance.
