A good day out with chance to get up close and personal to many different animals

点评：This is a small family run zoo which cares for unwanted and discarded pets as well as some animals from other zoos.
I went with a group of friends and we were all surprised just how many animals they have in a small area - everything from an armadillo to wallabies. Throw in meerkats, prairie dogs, racoons, skunks, lemurs, porcupines, ferrets, otters, foxes, otters, emus and a giant tortoise.... The only animal that wouldn't come out for us was the barn owl.
We went round with one of the helpers who talked about the different animals. We had chance to stroke the skunk and hand feed the emus and racoons. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the visit and my favourite is definitely the otters...
For those negative reviews complaining about the entry cost - just think how much it will cost a day to feed the animals...Yes it is a small zoo but you have chance to get up close and personal with many of the animals, which isn’t always possible at the larger zoos or animal parks. .
