点评：Our winter break trip to Quito and the Galápagos was nothing short of extraordinary—one of those rare journeys that feels meaningful, joyful, and unforgettable all at once.
Quito welcomed us with its dramatic setting, rich history, and vibrant culture. Walking through the old city felt like stepping into a living museum—colonial architecture, breathtaking churches, incredible food, and a deep sense of place. The balance of history, art, and everyday life made it both inspiring and grounding, and it was a perfect way to begin the adventure together.
Then came the Galápagos, which exceeded even our highest expectations. Experiencing the islands with family and friends made it truly special. The wildlife was surreal—sea lions, marine iguanas, giant tortoises, and birds we’d only ever seen in books, all completely unbothered by our presence. Snorkeling alongside turtles and colorful fish felt like entering another world. Every day brought a new sense of wonder.
What made the trip exceptional wasn’t just the destinations, but the shared moments—laughing together on boat rides, exploring new landscapes, learning side by side, and slowing down enough to truly appreciate nature and one another. It was adventurous without being exhausting, educational without ever feeling forced, and deeply bonding.
This trip struck the perfect balance between culture, nature, relaxation, and awe. It gave us memories we’ll carry forever and stories we’ll be telling for years. Quito and the Galápagos during winter break turned out to be an absolute dream—and one of the best family-and-friends trips we’ve ever taken.
