Jacob Sheep Trekking and Farm Experience Days的点评
点评：We went on the lambing experience and it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Not even the unpredictable Welsh weather could dampen the day. Before we arrived, we received a really helpful email outlining what to bring and what to expect, which set the tone for how well organised everything was.
We were greeted promptly by Nicola, who was truly wonderful. Her knowledge, passion, and genuine love for the animals shone through in everything she did. She made the whole experience engaging, informative, and memorable. We had countless questions throughout the day, and she answered every single one with patience and enthusiasm, helping us soak up as much as we possibly could.
It was also a pleasure to meet her dad, Paul, whose passion for his work and affection for the sheep added so much to the authenticity of the experience. It’s clear the animals are incredibly well cared for. With Paul’s guidance, we were even able to assist with the birth of twin lambs—an unforgettable moment and something we feel so lucky to have been part of.
We explored the different fields where the ewes were kept and learned how to spot signs of lambing. We bottle‑fed two‑week‑old lambs, held tiny chicks, and met farmer Tom, who took us to feed the goats and see the cows, including a newborn calf. Every part of the day offered something special.
From beginning to end, the experience was fantastic. We are so grateful to everyone on the farm who made the day so memorable and meaningful. For anyone with a love of animals or curiosity about farm life, we would highly recommend it. Thank you for such a wonderful day!
