点评：My sister and her husband, and my wife and I have just finished a 9 day safari guided by the Predators Safari Club. Our guide was Denis, a local gentleman in Tanzania. On our trip, we saw too-many-to-count lions, elephants, giraffes, hippos, cape buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, impalas, Thompson gazelles, antelopes, zebras, wildebeests and many others, some of which we didn't know existed. We saw many smaller mammals and birds. We saw a half dozen crocodiles, a few rhinos, four leopards, and three cheetahs. In separate events, we saw two lion kills right in front of us (a warthog and an antelope) which was difficult to watch but which we were reminded is part of nature. We watched a cheetah as it closed in on its prey, though it disappeared in the distance before the chase ended. We had one lion and one elephant brush against our truck as they passed - we were that close. And we watched a breathtaking 3,000 (+) wildebeest crossing of the Mara River, and running right beside our truck. Denis led us through all this and more. His knowledge of Tarangere, Ngorongoro, and the Serengetti is extraordinary. He would even talk to us about the types of vegetation and the roles they play in the lives of the animals. Denis is a fine person, patient and kind, with an astounding knowledge of the wild animals. His driving style was careful and respectful, even though the roads can be very rugged and difficult. He followed his instincts in looking for the animals, rather than simply following the crowd like many others do, and as such, we were often the first or only truck at an event. Denis was able to answer all our questions intelligently, and we all learned so much. Denis largely made our vacations the most wonderful and memorable of trips in our long lives. A safari can be a challenging experience, but with the right guide, it should increase your understanding of our world. If you are considering such an experience, I would recommend Predators, and Denis, without any hesitation.
