克利夫兰艺术博物馆的点评
点评：Since we live just three hours from the Cleveland Museum of Art and occasionally have business in Cleveland or have the opportunity to stop there while traveling, I keep tabs on what exhibitions are on their calendar. So when we found ourselves with an unexpected open weekend, we hopped in the car and headed to Cleveland. In the past decade, we've seen several major exhibitions at the CMA, including Georgia O'Keeffe, Degas, The Tudors, and Giacometti. Even the smaller special exhibits drawn us in. Two years ago, I shared the Monet in Focus exhibit with friends. On this visit, we saw the Filippino Lippi and Rome, and it did not disappoint! His Italian Renaissance works were stunning and quite impressive. We visited the Italian Renaissance galleries to see the CMA's collection that includes works by Caravaggio, Giambologna, and Della Robbia. We strolled through the European and Modern galleries to see favorite pieces like Monet's Water Lilies and Joan Mitchell's Gouise and works by Church, O'Keeffe, Glackens, and Guimard. Museum admission is free (special exhibitions are ticketed). The Museum Cafe always has good offerings. Parking is available for a fee in the museum garage or metered on the streets nearby.
