- Accommodation was arranged through Booking.com in Tirunelveli, as I needed to manage my work shift scheduled at 2:30 PM. For those planning to visit the Nellaiappar Temple and explore local shopping, this is a convenient option.
- After freshening up in Tirunelveli, I continued my journey the next morning. On 17th December 2025, I boarded a train from Tirunelveli to Tiruchendur at 4:20 AM (3-Tier AC, regular ticket), reaching Tiruchendur by 6:00 AM.
- A room had already been booked in Tiruchendur via Booking.com, where I stored my luggage before proceeding.
- I enjoyed an early morning walk from the room to the temple. This walk, after a long time, felt rejuvenating and contributed to my physical well-being.
- I joined the ₹100 queue for darshan, which took approximately 1 hour. This method and Darshan time reduction is possible only on working days and outside the festival season
